AWP#3 - Happy Holiday

Here is my third post about the Avatar Welcome Pack project.

Throughout the year, there are events that offer countless opportunities to find gifts. The end-of-year holiday season is especially rich in events, with plenty of freebies to discover:

Right now, many brands are offering Advent calendars.
In most cases, you need to join the group to click the calendars. However, some groups are temporarily free for the duration of the event. It’s worth taking advantage of this, as these groups will become paid again afterward—and the fees can be quite high.
There are several ways to stay informed about Advent calendars, but the best resource remains the Seraphim website, the ultimate reference for SL fashion lovers. At the moment, the site has published a post listing a large number of stores offering Advent calendars:


The SL Shop & Hop is also happening right now—and it’s a major event.
First of all, the number of sims and stores is impressive. Secondly, every designer offers a gift for visitors. It’s the perfect time to find a cute dress, earrings, or makeup at a very low cost. I went to take a look and found a few really lovely items. I’ll tell you more about them below.

At SL Shop & Hop, there aren’t only gifts—there are also store credits and gift cards.
This is a great way to get items you might not otherwise be able to afford (assuming you’re sticking to a free-to-play approach).

* I’d like to add a note about Alaskametro skins.
When you use the WAP, skins are included, but they come with painted underwear. This is great for modesty, however, if you want to wear a backless dress, for example, the result isn’t always ideal.

That’s why I’m highlighting the free Alaskametro skins here: they include both body and head in one skin, so there’s no issue with mismatched tones between the head and the body.

This year, nine different skin tones are available for free at SL Shop & Hop. And throughout the year, you can also pick up these skins at Palomma Plaza.
